My experience of facial fat grafting/repositioning South Korea, Seoul

I had under-eye fat repositioning and fat grafting to my under-eye area and nasolabial folds a few months ago in South Korea.
This quick and simple procedure helped me with an insecurity I had for a long time. (especially my under eyes)

I went to AB Plastic Surgery in Gangnam, Seoul. The consultation was thorough, and I felt that the surgeon really listened to my expectations before the procedure. He gave me honest advice and recommended realistic solutions.

The procedure was very quick, and the recovery wasn't painful at any point, just a bit uncomfortable because of the swelling

A few months after the procedure, I noticed that a small amount of excess fat remained under one eye. I went back for a follow-up appointment, discussed it with the surgeon, and they offered to correct it free of charge. I really appreciated their commitment to making sure I was happy with the final result.

So I had two procedures.

• First photo: before surgery.

• Second photo: the small amount of excess fat that was still visible when I smiled.

• Third photo: taken today, one month after the revision procedure. It's still a little swollen.

Most of the swelling goes down within 4–6 weeks, but the final result will continue to settle over the next few months.

One thing to keep in mind is that fat graft survival is quite unpredictable and varies from person to person.
I'm veryy happy with the results under my eyes, it completely changed my face.
But for the nasolabial folds idk, I'm not sure I'd recommend fat grafting for that area. It's a part of the face that's constantly moving, it’s a different ligament and skin structure so the fat tends to spread and settle more diffusely, so the result is less « wow » and less defined (but the surgeon warned me that the results are much more subtle in this area so I’m not a surprise)
I also have the impression that it added a bit more volume to the surrounding cheek area, buut it’s too early to judge since there's still some swelling.

Overall, my experience was very positive. The surgeon gave me honest advice, and the clinic's English-speaking coordinators were attentive, professional, and always available whenever I had questions or concerns

Of course, everyone's results are different, but here my personal feedback in case if it can be helpful :)
