I recently had revision rhinoplasty, genioplasty, square jaw reduction, Accusculpt, and neck thread lifting at AB Plastic Surgery. Now that I’m two month post-op, I’m really happy with my results so far. Although I still have some swelling, especially around my neck, most of it has gone down, and my face looks slimmer and more contoured. Since it’s only been a month, I still can’t fully open my mouth, but I’m slowly regaining sensation in my mouth and chin.
For my nose, I had tip plasty, so my upper lip movement is still a bit limited, but I know this will improve over time. I also had an alar reduction, which has made my nose smaller and more defined. The swelling inside my nose has decreased significantly, and I’m slowly regaining my usual smile. There’s still some tightness around my nostrils and the tip of my nose, but it seems to be improving each day. I’ve been applying the silicone gel provided by AB for the past month, and my scars are healing well.
The swelling in my jaw and chin has also gone down, though I still feel some tightness and slight numbness in the area. I’d say I’ve regained about 80% of my sensation and movement, though my bottom front teeth still feel a bit sensitive. I’ve been doing daily jaw exercises, which have helped me open my mouth more easily. Right now, I can fit three fingers in my mouth with some effort.
My lower face and double chin have become noticeably slimmer, which I’m really happy about. My neck still feels a bit tight, but it’s improving little by little. I hope this continues as the swelling completely subsides.
To help with my recovery, I’ve been drinking plenty of water, going for regular walks, and avoiding salty or processed foods. Instead, I focus on eating a lot of vegetables, fruits, and home-cooked meals.
So far, I haven’t experienced any extreme pain or discomfort, and I’m healing smoothly. As the days go by, I can see my chin, jaw, and nose settling into their new shape, and I’m gradually getting used to my “new” face. Although I still have a bit of swelling and some tightness, I’m really excited to see the final results. Overall, I’m very happy with my transformation and looking forward to the continued progress!
