Precautions for health conditions

1. Please let us know in advance if you have a medical condition such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or thyroid disease, or a psychiatric condition such as epilepsy or psychiatry. If necessary, you should meet with an anesthesiologist and undergo related tests to make sure there are no problems.
2. If you have an allergy or adverse reaction to a drug, please let us know in advance the causative ingredient or the severity of the reaction (itching, hives, difficulty breathing, etc.) so that we can avoid the medication containing the causative ingredient and receive anesthesia.
3. Please let us know in advance if you have had surgery related to the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, or brain in the past, or if you have received chemotherapy.
4. If you suffer from anemia, anemia may worsen after surgery, so evaluation and treatment for anemia may be necessary before surgery.
5. Please let us know if you have had any symptoms such as high fever, phlegm, cough, or cold in the week before surgery.
6. If you are taking medications for high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid, epilepsy, hormones, or psychiatric medications, you must tell the director in charge. Since the method of taking all medications may vary depending on the patient's condition, please check with the hospital to check whether you are taking them. Required. Additionally, you must bring any medications you take to the hospital on the day of surgery, regardless of whether you take them on the day of surgery. Please refrain from taking aspirin, aspirin-based drugs, hormones, herbal medicine, or vitamins for 1 week prior to surgery.
7. If your surgery date and menstruation overlap, please let us know in advance. It does not affect the results of the surgery, but bruising and swelling may occur.

Precautions regarding drinking and smoking

1. Smoking slows down the recovery of the surgical site and can cause infection. We also recommend that you quit smoking from the moment surgery is decided, as it affects anesthesia.
2. Because alcohol affects liver function and the metabolism of drugs used for anesthesia, it is recommended to abstain from alcohol at least 1 week before surgery.

Precautions before and on the day of surgery

1. You must fast from food or drink, including solid foods such as candy and gum, for 9 hours before surgery.
2. Get plenty of sleep the night before surgery.
3. The surgery time will be after 4:30 PM and the anesthesiologist in charge will contact you once the assignment is complete. If you do not hear from the hospital the day before surgery, be sure to call to confirm.
4. Before surgery, you must remove all manicure, pedicure, and parts.
5. If an armpit incision is made, you must shave your armpit hair to prevent infection.
6. It is recommended that you shower or wash your face thoroughly on the day of surgery. Additionally, accessories such as rings and necklaces are prohibited.
7. Please do not wear makeup on the day of surgery and remove your contact lenses before coming to the hospital.
8. We recommend that you wear a slightly oversized button-up shirt, loose pants, and a long skirt on the day of surgery. Also, stockings should not be too long, and pantyhose should be avoided.
9. For those discharged the same day, self-driving is not possible.
10. If you have any medical devices implanted in your body, such as a defibrillator or cochlear implant, please inform the coordinator and medical staff again on the day of surgery.
11. If you are hospitalized, you will be discharged after treatment the next morning.
