Epicanthoplasty

Epicanthoplasty is a surgical procedure that involves relocating or removing the Mongolian fold at the front of the eyes. By subtly opening up the front and upper sides of the eyes, it creates the appearance of larger and clearer eyes. As a result, you can observe an increase in both the horizontal and vertical dimensions of the eyes.

Lateral canthoplasty

You can enhance the appearance of the outer corners of your eyes by opening them through lateral canthoplasty, thereby achieving a more striking look. By adjusting the angle of the outer corners of your eyes, you can also improve your overall facial impression.

Lower canthoplasty

Lower canthoplasty is a surgical procedure that modifies the lower line of the eyes by making an incision through the conjunctiva. The angle of the outer corners can be adjusted based on the patient's preference, resulting in an improved overall facial impression.

After making an incision along the shape of the front of the eye, the Mongolian fold is relocated or removed to open up the space in front of the eyes. Although the extent may vary depending on the shape or structure of each individual's eyes, a typical cannula effect of approximately 2 to 3 mm is often noticeable.

AB Plastic Surgery

Design
The design is done with careful consideration of the balance between the face and eyes.

AB Plastic Surgery

Mongolian Fold Incision
The Mongolian fold is surgically altered by making an incision along the inner canthus, the corner of the eye nearest to the nose.

AB Plastic Surgery

Suturing
The suturing is done internally within the eye, effectively hiding the incision line to ensure that any scarring remains invisible.

Lateral Canthoplasty Surgery Method

Learn about AB Plastic Surgery's Lateral Canthoplasty Surgery Method.

An incision is made horizontally at the point where the upper and lower eyelids meet at the corner of the eye, and it is then sutured to the inner conjunctiva. An incision is made to avoid damaging the ligament that holds the shape of the eye at the corner. This procedure has the effect of making the eyes appear bigger by at least 1-2mm after surgery.

AB Plastic Surgery

Design
We carefully design the precise location and length of the incision.

AB Plastic Surgery

Conjunctival Incision
The conjunctiva inside the eye is incised according to the designed specifications.

AB Plastic Surgery

Lateral Canthoplasty
The canthoplasty procedure is carried out by moving it to the desired position of the outer corner of the eye and performing lateral canthoplasty.

AB Plastic Surgery

Suturing
After securely fixing it, meticulous suturing is performed.

Lower Canthoplasty Surgery Method

Learn about AB Plastic Surgery's Lower Canthoplasty Surgery Method.

Desired adjustment of the outer corner of the eye is achieved by lowering the inner conjunctiva of the eye and securely suturing it. If only the skin is pulled, there is a risk of eyelid inversion. Therefore, it is important to manipulate the muscles to guide the skin downward along with the surgery.
