On April 19, 2025, AB Plastic Surgery successfully hosted the 2025 Endoscopic Forehead Lift Korean Medical Training Program for visiting international medical professionals from Japan.
This program was designed to share the latest trends and advanced surgical techniques in endoscopic forehead lift procedures, while also showcasing the excellence of Korean plastic surgery.
What Is an Endoscopic Forehead Lift?
An endoscopic forehead lift involves making small incisions hidden inside the hairline, inserting an endoscope, and lifting the forehead and eyebrows through precise dissection and fixation.
Because the incisions are minimal, recovery is faster and scarring from lifting incisions is greatly reduced.
Common goals for this procedure include:
-
Improving forehead wrinkles
-
Correcting drooping upper eyelids
-
Lifting sagging eyebrows
-
Improving or preventing glabellar (frown) lines
As one of the most sought-after anti-aging procedures, it has become especially popular for offering natural results with a short downtime.
Program Highlights
During the training, AB Plastic Surgery’s Dr. Do Kyung-Hyun delivered an advanced lecture on endoscopic forehead lift techniques, focusing on anatomical understanding and current surgical trends.
Participants also observed a live surgery demonstration, where AB’s precise and safe surgical approach was showcased in real time.
Results From Actual Live Surgery Cases
Before-and-after photos of real participants showed:
-
Sagging eyebrows being lifted, widening the distance between the eyebrows and eyes
-
A previously heavy, tired eye expression becoming clearer and more open
-
Upper eyelid sagging improving, enhancing the double-eyelid line
-
Natural correction of asymmetric eyes
-
Overall brighter, more refreshed facial expression
Because AB’s forehead lift is performed through minimal incisions, patients experience:
-
Reduced visible scarring
-
Faster recovery
-
Less concern about traditional lifting scars
Endoscopic forehead lift can be an especially effective solution for individuals whose droopy eyelids or tired eye appearance cannot be fully corrected through double-eyelid surgery alone.
Remarks From Dr. Do Kyung-Hyun
Dr. Do shared:
“This training program goes beyond simple technical exchange. It holds great significance in academic collaboration with global medical professionals and in the spread of Korean medical excellence. It was particularly meaningful to share AB Plastic Surgery’s meticulous forehead-lift techniques with international attendees.”
