Surgeries: Incisional Eyelid with Ptosis Correction, Epicanthoplasty, Lateral Canthoplasty, Lower Lateral Canthoplasty

I recently underwent double eyelid surgery, and overall, I’m really happy with the results. It was something I had been considering for a while, mainly to enhance the shape of my eyes and make makeup application a bit easier. After doing plenty of research and consultations, I finally felt confident moving forward with AB Plastic Surgery.

The procedure itself was straightforward and done under local anesthesia. I experienced some swelling and bruising for the first 1–2 weeks, which is completely normal. The first few days were a little uncomfortable, but manageable with cold compresses and the medication provided. I took about a week off from work and avoided social events during recovery just to let things settle.

By the end of the first month, most of the swelling had gone down, and my eyelids were starting to look more natural. Now, a few months post-op, the crease looks really clean and suits my face well. One of my biggest worries was that it might look too “obvious” or unnatural, but my surgeon did an amazing job keeping it subtle and balanced. I still have swelling left and according to my consultant, and what I searched through the net, the swelling gonna take some time to finally settle to its place!
