Surgery: Customized Jaw/Chin Implant

I had a custom chin/jaw implant in January 2025. Previously, I had a receded chin and weak jawline.

It took a while for me to find a clinical that I felt comfortable with. Eventually, I decided on AB, and I'm very happy with the decision. The precess of was thorough, and I'm very happy with the result.

I will say that the healing process was more difficult than I anticipated. I had significant swelling for 4+ weeks before I started looking "normal" again. Also, the implant was inserted through the mouth and one of the incisions was very slow to heal. I was very worried that it would get infected. However, the clinic was very helpful with followups, I had no significant complications, and I'm very happy with my new profile.

Surgical results may vary from person to person. There may be side effects such as bleeding or inflammation. Costs may vary depending on the diagnosis after CT scan and in-person consultation. The rate at which bruising and swelling subside also differs for each individual.
