Surgeries: V-Line + Cheekbone + Buccal + Face Lift + Lipo + Fat Grafting 

I had surgery at AB Plastic Surgery in Seoul on March 7, 2025, and wanted to share my experience now that I’m 3 months post-op.

Procedures I got: • Mandible jaw reduction + genioplasty + cheekbone reduction • Buccal fat removal • Face lifting • Face lipo (double chin + jawline) w/ elasticum thread lift • Forehead fat grafting (1 time)

I asked for subtle, more feminine results to enhance my natural features rather than drastically change my face, and I’m super happy with how it turned out. My swelling’s gone down a lot, and my facial line is softer and more balanced now.

VAT included. They also covered the anesthesia, pre-op tests, 1-night hospital stay, post-op care, and prescription issue fee. I paid ₩2,000,000 upfront and had ₩18,440,000 remaining.

The Experience:

Honestly, the staff at AB were amazing. Communication was super easy—everyone was so helpful, responsive, and genuinely caring. They scheduled all my appointments, explained everything clearly, and even checked in with me the night before surgery to make sure I was okay.

I met both Dr. Jo and Dr. Seong several times and they made me feel really heard. They never pushed anything I didn’t want. Instead, they gave me different options and helped guide me through everything so I felt really confident in my decisions.

After surgery, I stayed one night at the clinic. A nurse was available all night and gave me painkiller injections when I was in too much pain. Post-op pain was more intense than I expected even with meds, so I reached out to staff and they actually sent me photos of what OTC painkillers to buy, where to find them, and what dosage to take. They checked in constantly that week—asking how I slept, if I was eating, etc.

They even helped me find a salon nearby to wash my hair (since that’s a nightmare right after surgery) and gave haircut recs when I mentioned wanting one lol. They really went above and beyond.

Final thoughts:

If you’re considering surgery in Korea, especially as a foreigner, I can’t recommend AB enough. From consultation to aftercare, I felt supported the entire way and never felt like they were just trying to sell me something. They respected what I wanted, gave me natural results, and took care of me every step of the way.
