Surgery: Incisional Double Eyelid with Ptosis Correction (Revision)
I’m an international student currently living in Korea. I already had double eyelids, but the crease wasn’t very defined, and excess fat and lax skin covered it, making my eyes look sleepy and dull. Because I wanted bigger, brighter, more defined yet natural looking eyes, I decided to have double eyelid surgery.
I researched quite a few clinics on the GangnamOnnie app and read reviews in both Vietnamese and Korean. After careful consideration, I saw that AB was highly rated for eye procedures, so I booked a consultation.
My first impression of the clinic was great. The facilities are spacious and spotless, with a premium Korean feel, like stepping into a high end medical center. The staff were super friendly, and they offer Vietnamese support, which made me feel much more at ease. The doctor was extremely thorough, clearly explained the condition of my eyelids, and suggested a suitable incision method. That professionalism and sincerity made me decide to proceed with surgery at AB right away.
My recovery experience:
First week: Swelling and bruising with mild soreness and tightness around the lids, but manageable. I followed the clinic’s aftercare instructions closely, so healing progressed quickly.
After two weeks: The incision healed nicely, swelling decreased significantly, and the crease was already looking quite natural.
From month 1 to month 3: The swelling was almost completely gone, with no visible signs of surgery. Everyone I met commented that my eyes looked beautiful and natural.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with my double eyelid surgery at AB. The crease is clear and harmonious with my face, without any pulled look or visible scarring. The surgeon’s skill is excellent, and the staff are kind and attentive.
If you’re considering double eyelid surgery in Korea, I genuinely recommend checking out AB. I was lucky to choose the right place from the start, so I don’t have to worry about revisions.
