3/25 – Arrived in Korea
3/26 – Consultation and pre-op check-up
3/27 – Surgery day

On the morning of the 26th, I had my consultation. I showed the doctor a photo of the face shape I wanted (I brought Cho Wae Yeon’s picture and felt so embarrassed that I couldn’t stop laughing XD).

After our discussion, the doctor recommended:
• All-3 points facial bone contouring
• Chin bone grafting
• Facial liposuction

After confirming everything, I went through all the pre-op tests. The next morning, I went into surgery around 10 AM, and when I woke up, it was about 1 to 2 PM.

💉 Post-surgery experience

I did not react too strongly to the anesthesia. I know many people say it feels very uncomfortable or painful, but for me it was bearable. I only felt very nauseous and my throat was extremely dry, it honestly felt like having COVID and being stabbed with a knife 😂

I kept dozing in and out through the night until morning, and the nurses came in regularly to check on me.

🏠 After discharge

Once I was discharged, I went straight back to the guesthouse and stayed in bed all day. I got up only to eat something, take my medicine, and go back to sleep 🤣 On the second and third days, I only walked to the nearby convenience store before going home to rest. By the fourth day, I started going out shopping, and honestly, I shopped every day until I returned home 🛍️ Walking around helped distract me from the swelling in my face. (because my legs ended up hurting more than my face 😅).

✂️ Stitch removal

I had my stitches removed on April 2, and it did not hurt at all. After that, I went shopping again 😂 The next day, I flew back to Taiwan.

Overall, it was a really meaningful experience, and I am so glad I finally did it!

Surgical results may vary from person to person. There may be side effects such as bleeding or inflammation. Costs may vary depending on the diagnosis after CT scan and in-person consultation. The rate at which bruising and swelling subside also differs for each individual.
