I had the pleasure of doing a consultation with AB Plastic Surgery today. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. The facility is very clean. The process was very streamlined and efficient. I had a lot of questions so it was overwhelming but the surgeons took their time to explain to me without me feeling rushed.

Day 7
My surgeries were very involved. The first 2 days were rough but recovery was surprisingly fast, considering all that was done. Just wished family was allowed in and the immediate postop care was more, however, I understand that some of this is differences in culture and system in Korea. Also, narcotics for pain is not usually given as they use NSAIDs instead, but pain improve within 2 days. Tips for foreigners who are doing any surgeries that involve the oral area would be to bring a pill crusher.

Day 30
My recovery is going well. My face still feels very tight from the facelift, and I cannot smile fully yet. The scars on my temples are getting darker, but that’s to be expected. I was told the scars will lighten and fade over time. My chin still feels numb, but I’m able to open my mouth a little wider after 30 days. I hope to look more natural and have a more natural smile within the next 30 days.
