Surgeries: Incisional Double Eyelid with Fat Grafting

I went to Seoul last month to get my eyes done and wanted to share an update of my progress. I went to AB Plastic Surgery and got incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + fat grating. My main concerns were making my eyelids even (I already had double eyelids, but they were different sizes and one eye had multiple folds) and adding more volume to my upper eye area (they were more hollow/sunken in).

For being 1 month post op I would say so far so good! Everyone heals differently, but for the first 1-3 weeks after my surgery I was pretty bruised. I didn't have as much swelling as other people, but my incision sites bled a little bit (which I was told is normal) and I looked like I got punched in the face lol. The purple-ish bruises slowly turned yellow though and completely went away around the 3 week mark!

During my consultation, I told them that I wanted very natural results and that I just wanted to make my eyelids even and look more awake. Nothing crazy! and I feel like I got exactly what I asked for. It's a small change but it's the smallest enhancements that sometimes make the biggest difference :) I'm eager to see how much better they will look as time passes and the results start to settle in more, but even at just 1 month post op, everyone around me says they can barely even tell that I got surgery recently and that the results are already pretty natural! So I'm very pleased with the results so far.

As far as my experience with the clinic goes - I contacted the clinic through WhatsApp and was easily able to make an appointment. I made an appointment ~1 month in advance. Once I got to the clinic, there was an english speaking translator that stayed with me the entire time which I really appreciated. She answered all of my questions before the surgery and was quick to respond to all my questions that I sent after the surgery as well. The only negative piece of feedback I have is that there was a bit of a waiting time once I got to my appointment (my appointment was at 11am, but I was waiting for ~45-60 mins), but other than that the clinic was clean, the doctor and staff were friendly, and I enjoyed my overall experience!

Surgical results may vary from person to person. There may be side effects such as bleeding or inflammation. Costs may vary depending on the diagnosis after in-person consultation. The rate at which bruising and swelling subside also differs for each individual.
